Blistered Green Beans and Shishitos with Sriracha and Miso

Shishitos are wickedly addictive – and this shishito recipe brings out the very best in this tasty, tasty chilli we can’t get enough of.

 

Serves 4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 7 minutes

 
Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons white miso
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 300g green beans
  • 12 Wicked Hots Shishitos
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • Togarashi seasoning or toasted sesame seeds to garnish

 
Method:

  • Combine the sriracha, white miso, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add the beans and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the shishitos and continue to stir fry until beans and shishitos are blistered on all sides, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for a further 30 seconds before stirring in the sriracha mixture. Season to taste.
  • Sprinkle over the Togarashi seasoning or sesame seeds before serving.
