Fresno Chillies – Green, Red & Yellow

Bright, punchy and seriously versatile — Fresno chillies are a Wicked Hots favourite.

If you like jalapeños, you’ll love these. Fresno chillies are often compared to jalapeños but with a brighter, fruitier flavour and slightly thinner skins, making them awesome for sauces, pickling and fermenting.

Picked at different stages of ripeness, each colour brings its own vibe:

Green Fresno – Fresh, crisp and a little milder, similar to a green jalapeño. Great for slicing, salsas and everyday cooking.

Yellow Fresno – Zesty and balanced with a clean chilli bite. Perfect for pickling and quick sauces.

Red Fresno – Fully ripe, fruitier and usually a touch hotter than a jalapeño. Ideal for fermenting, hot sauces and adding depth.

These chillies sit at a comfortable medium heat — full of flavour without blowing your head off.
